A telling and revealing article about Warren, Clinton, and the Democratic Party elite.

Increasingly, it appears that Clinton and her ilk are only loyal to the Democratic Party when they control its levers of powers. In other words, they are loyal to the same status quo that most American voters are now revolting against. The fact that Sanders has been a registered Independent throughout most of his career is often touted by partisan critics as evidence of his disloyalty or bad intentions. But among a broader electorate that includes many Democrats, it’s one of his primary appeals.

According to Gallup, a plurality of voters identify as independent, while less than a third identify as a Democrat or Republican. What’s more, most voters don’t feel a strong sense of party loyalty, and consider the two-party system to be bad for the country. Nearly six in 10 Americans want an alternative to our political duopoly, including 54% of self-identified Democrats and 72% of independents.

Think I'm joking when I say the establishment is seriously worried about Bernie Sanders winning the 2020 US Presidential Election?

Joe Rogan's endorsement of Bernie Sanders.

Joe Rogan's effective endorsement of Bernie Sanders is significant for 2 reasons. It's an effective passing of a test of whether Sanders' progressive policies can attract the support of

1) potential independent or non-participatory individuals who would otherwise not vote.
2) voters who supported Trump, but would've supported Sanders in 2016 if he had been on the ballot.

This ticks off centrists and right-wingers who are otherwise be scared shitless that such endorsement confirms that Sanders can reach a block of voters these groups have failed to attract.

The benevolent means of capitialism.

What does it give us?
How much does it cost?
How long will it take?

Imagine expressing that in more cold-blooded means.

A revealing persepctive of one side of the establishment.

I always felt the establishment has two basic sides -

One side prefer things remain as they are - i.e. marching in the same steps. This would presumably be the Democratic Party.

The other would want to roll things back to what they were in order to make it easier to rule and steal. This would be the Republican Party.

This article purports to be about the former - https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2020/01/22/pers-j22.html

The interesting thing is - let's assume they are correct in that Sanders is essentially playing the role of sheepdog for the Democratic Party. That is, he talks a progressive game, with the ultierior goal of 'sheepdogging' prospective supporters to 'vote blue no matter who'.

Did that work in 2016 however? I would say no.

And, I think it'll be a lot harder for the establishment to convince voters to do so. Sanders' policies are so effectively public now (Medicare For All, Tuition-free College, End Income Inequality, Address Climate Change), such that I seriously think they aren't gonna accept anything less that now. To offer would less would result in riots, and very violent, non-stop ones.

And, if people are poor, rioting, out of work, etc., that means no taxes, no wealth threat to the rich and powerful.

So it'd be in their interests to appease the masses by giving in and enacting policies that keep the poor and the working alive and well. Even though those are mildly socialist policies, I'm really describing them in a capitalist mindset.

And that's the thing - I think any one but Sanders winning in 2020, will result in pure chaos and disaster.

MeToo (establishment facade) behind attack on Sanders.

Who really killed MLK jr, and why?

https://www.globalresearch.ca/orders-to-kill-martin-luther-king-the-government-that-honors-mlk-with-a-national-holiday-killed-him/5559300

William Pepper resurrects the revolutionary MLK, and in doing so shows in striking detail why elements within the U.S. government executed him.  After reading this book, no fair-minded reader can reach any other conclusion.  The Plot to Kill King, the culminating volume of a trilogy that Pepper has written on the assassination, consists of slightly less text than supporting documentation in its appendices, which include numerous depositions and interviews that buttress Pepper’s thesis on the why and how of this horrible murder.

Every thing one needs to know about Hillary Clinton 2.0.

The middle of middle.

One of the things I've noticed at this point in life is - I'm definitely somewhere in the middle.

What do I mean?

I mean that I've reached a point in life where I have some degree of -

respect
sanity
authority
age

I believe that when one is either very very old, or very very young, one doesn't have those things. And while I'd say I don't have a lot of those (other than age) - I do have some.

So that puts me in the middle.

What does that mean?

For me, not much.

It really means that I'm at point in life where I recognize that the things I want to do, I still can. But, for now long? At some point down the road - either due to age or otherwise - I won't be able to do those things. That means I should have a sense of urgency in getting them done.

But part of being in the middle means it's also a lot harder to get those things done, even if they would make me happy.

For one thing, being in the middle means I have a TON of responsibilities.

I have them at work with the people and groups, and at home with my family. But I know that getting those things that I want done means I have to balance those responsibilities with my own desires.

There's only so much time.

And that's the thing - being in the middle means realizing that time truly isn't infinite anymore. It may have seemed that way when one is young, but not now.

In other words, time to get off my ass and get shit done.

Another reason why privatization isn't a good thing.

https://www.zdnet.com/article/brazils-state-owned-firm-dataprev-fires-hundreds-of-staff-ahead-of-privatization/

Brazil's state-owned firm Dataprev fires hundreds of staff ahead of privatization

The company responsible for the IT underpinning the social security system will close 20 offices across the country and hopes to cut operational spend by $22 million.

Here's why -

"Dataprev provides technology information services to the Brazilian social welfare system. It treats and stores data related to millions of citizens on benefits. The company itself voiced concerns around what will happen to the personal data belonging to millions of Brazilians that it handles after the sale, warning that shifting data to private servers "could compromise national sovereignty.""

Can't happen again?

You mean this?

Guess again - it's already happening.

Thank you Graham Elwood!

Who is threatening who?

Next time some idiot goes on and on about Iran being a threat to the US, show them this image.

Those black dots are US military bases in the region.

A clear example of why I don't trust the Democratic Party leadership, and their mouthpieces.

They simply make up shit, and palm it off as fact.

Case in point - this gem:

"The 2016 Democratic campaign wasn’t rigged. Hillary Clinton won."

No - the 2016 Democratic Primaries were rigged, long before Bernie Sanders even declared himself a nominee.

https://www.investors.com/politics/editorials/how-hillary-clinton-rigged-the-democratic-primary-and-may-have-broken-the-law/
https://observer.com/2016/07/wikileaks-proves-primary-was-rigged-dnc-undermined-democracy/
https://www.inquisitr.com/3207171/election-fraud-study-points-to-rigged-democratic-primary-against-bernie-sanders-video/

Oh and this gem -

https://osociety.org/2019/08/15/court-ruling-the-democratic-party-rigged-the-2016-presidential-primary-and-can-do-it-again-in-2020-if-they-wish-to/

We learned this through the DNC and Hillary Clinton emails obtained by Wikileaks -

The establishment colluded with the Clinton campaign and the media to fix both 1) the Democratic nomination in Hillary Clinton's favor, as well as 2) the Republican Party nomination to get the most extreme candidate they could find (Donald Trump) because it was the only type of candidate she could beat -
and she still lost.

Or to be more succinct - Hillary Clinton cheated and still lost.

And ... it was all by design, because both were acceptable to the establishment. What matter was stopping someone whose policies and platform represented a REAL threat to the establishment - namely Bernie Sanders.

Those are the facts. Simply pretending it didn't exist is the height of both ignorance and arrogance.

Make no mistake - the establishment will try again in 2020, and even go as far as ensuring Donald Trump will get re-elected to do so.

Divest from the war machine.

https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2020/01/03/iraq-j03.html

"The recklessness and criminality that characterize Washington’s acts against Iran are not a sign of strength, but rather an expression of the deep-going social tensions, economic instability and political crisis gripping American capitalism, which the ruling financial oligarchy seeks to divert outward in an explosion of military violence."
