Today's one of those days ...

... where I feel like nothing more than a living paycheck.

One that everyone feeds off of. I'm looked upon as less than human, and viewed with the excitement and passion of a contractual obligation.

Why do I even bother taking the day off?

People in the house constantly interrupt whatever I'm reading, watching or listening to.

The two hens in house constantly cluck and cluck about all their problems, and never do any real thinking about their own actions or lack thereof that contribute to said problems.

I keep thinking about all the work I left behind last Friday afternoon, and the tons of emails in my Inbox, Slack and Team messages piling up, and the never-ending 3rd degree I'm going to get from my manager and so on.

I seem to have a gap in figuring out basic musical passages in songs I'm working on, and to what end? I'd rather be working either completely new songs, or working out the drum patterns on all the older songs I've accumulated.

Plus there's this.

The wonders of nothingness.

aka Black Holes.

GW190521 (or GW190521g; initially, S190521g)[5] is a gravitational wave signal resulting from the merger of two black holes near a third supermassive black hole, which was associated with a coincident and uncharacteristic flash of light.[2][6] The event was observed by the LIGO and Virgo detectors on 21 May 2019 at 03:02:29 UTC,[7] and later confirmed in studies published on 2 September 2020.[4][5][8] The event was located 17 billion light years away,[n 1][5][9] in location area 765[10] deg2[n 2][11][12] towards Coma Berenices, Canes Venatici, or Phoenix.[1][2][6][13]
