Not much point in really talking about the 2014 US Mid-Term Elections

The right wing has essentially taken a two-pronged approach to dividing and conquering Americans -

  • Corporations pour their endless currency of cash into any candidates who'll do their bidding.
  • Then there's those human beings who really don't think but are real psychopaths to the right of Tea Baggers and the ilk

On the latter, there's nothing I can really point to that David Neiwert hasn't already touched upon -

On the former however, there was one bright spot. Washington State voters finally ignored the threats, bullying and tactics of the gun lobby and those associated gun nuts and successfully passed a measure that finally closes the long-dangerous loophole in the law - now that will now require criminal background checks for those purchasing firearms at gun shows or over the Internet.
