I was curious and started browsing through some of the Major League Baseball (MLB) website stats on players, and realized I didn't know any of them.
Even as recently as last year, I knew some of the players and followed teams.
But not anymore.
It's pretty much the same with hockey.
I like watching both sports and so forth. But knowing all the players and the teams - I draw a blank now. Of course I know most of the teams still.
But in hockey, not since 1993 have I really followed any team. That could be because that's the last time any Canadian team won the Stanley Cup, but who's complaining?
