- Well my candidate of choice for President Of The United States in 2016 just endorsed someone I'll never support.
- An opportunity at work I was interested in and was told didn't exist because it was just 'overhead' was magically created and hired in with someone from outside the company.
- In addition, I work on a team where the manager pretty much lets two others on the team boss me around, committing my time, estimating my work, and telling others when things assigned to me are going to get done.
- Then I took the initiative on a condition a family member was experiencing only to have the therrapist hijack the discussion and ignore my thoughts completely.
And really those aren't things - while a burden on me in the short-term - aren't necessarily bad in the long term -
- For one thing, the political revolution Bernie Sanders call for can still live on. As stated previously, it cannot and will not live if in the control of the establishment; it really has to exist outside of all that. It's really up to people to make it happen. For me, that will probably come in the form of either a new political party, or better still a new process altogether that forces change into the current political process.
- The opportunity at work still exists; I merely have to define it further and maintain the communications with the people who are still very much interested in having me there. That's all still in existence, and it's up to me to continue it.
- I need to grow some more balls and really put my manager in place about what I want to do and how I wanted to be treated.
- And while the therapist and the Mrs. were rude somewhat in ignoring my thoughts - I realize that neither of therm really took any initiative - it was me who did that. In other words, my actions - whether tactful or otherwise - ended up in further positive actions in the right direction, and that's a good thing.
