Your hard drive spying on you?

Evidently so. I'm sure mine knows what I'm going to post before even I do.

"The U.S. National Security Agency has figured out how to hide spying software deep within hard drives made by Western Digital, Seagate, Toshiba and other top manufacturers, giving the agency the means to eavesdrop on the majority of the world's computers, according to cyber researchers and former operatives."

You have to wonder what sort of security testing these hard drive companies did to ensure their source code didn't fall into the hands of these idiots?
