Think this isn't the case?
Think again.
They simply don't do things like this anymore ->
How he does this with a near-complete straight face is truly beyond me.
Based on the strong-hold occupation, a death sentence is about to be laid upon those in Gaza -
But one cannot criticize Israel for it's brutal apartheid-style occupation, and how it's connected to US funding, or else -
And now, the establishment and the right-wing seek to prevent the Palestinians from practicing even basic democracy -

New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) began raids on Newsclick office and homes of its directors, including editor-in Chief Prabir Purkayastha and Editor, Pranjal, on Tuesday morning. The independent news website has, of late, gained considerable viewership following extensive coverage of the ongoing farmer protests in the country.
Why?
Perhaps it has something to do what what they're reporting on -
... if the US were to behave the way it has done before in these negotiations, then it would be going back to the failed policies of the past. The United States has been obstructionist-in-chief in global climate talks—by, for instance, refusing to accept the principle that wealthy countries who have disproportionately benefited from industrialization driven by fossil fuels, and therefore are both much wealthier than much of the Global South—countries in Africa and Latin America and parts of Asia and the Pacific—but also are much more responsible for the cumulative greenhouse gas emissions for the last more than 100 years.
And the cumulative emissions do matter, for the simple scientific reason that some greenhouse gases, particularly carbon dioxide, are just very chemically stable and long-lived. So if you’re emitting excess CO2 into the atmosphere from burning fossil fuels, it just stays there; it doesn’t decay rapidly. And so the cumulative emissions do matter. And therefore, the wealthy countries which have been industrialized for a long time, and which have been responsible for a disproportionate share of those emissions, also share a disproportionate amount of the blame for climate change.
Obviously care homes are a good and necessary thing for protecting victims of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia who can’t be kept safe at home, whereas the system in which we all find ourselves is unforgivably abusive and malignant to its core. But the psychological principles work in exactly the same way: it’s much easier and far more energy efficient to give people the illusion of freedom than to tell them they are locked up against their will. If you let the people know you stand in opposition to their will, they’re going to try to fight you, so it’s best to pretend you’re on their side and willing to give them everything they want.
That’s all electoral politics is. That’s all the Democratic Party is. That’s all we were seeing when Americans shook the earth with Black Lives Matter protests last year while the entire establishment told them “I hear you, I agree with you” without ever actually making any changes. It’s a locked facility we are forbidden from leaving with a bunch of staff members pretending to want what we want.
The answer is, it doesn't arouse any passion like the trauma porn that passes for entertainment here in the West. https://breakthroughne...
